Converting from pressed in studs to screw in?

This conversion kit comes with Sixteen Chrome Moly screw in studs, Eight 5/16" Hardened guide plates and a set of sixteen hardened pushrods for Small Block Ford 302 engines.

     Fits:

• 302 1968-1978 Stud Mount Heads
  

Get all the parts required to convert from factory pressed in studs to screw in studs and guide plates. *see note at bottom of page

Also a good kit for use with aftermarket heads going on a SBF 302.

• 3/8" National Fine top threads
• 7/16" National Course threads, mounting end
• Correct length studs for SB Ford
• 2.500" Overall length

Guide Plate specs:

• Manufactured from .120" Thick Alloyed Steel Material
• Hardened to 50C
• Manufactured by Elgin Industries
• Use with 5/16" Pushrods

Pushrod Specs:

• Overall length is 6.876" (for use with flat tappet cams)
  
• .060" Wall Thickness
• 5/16" Diameter Suitable for performance applications
• Manufactured by either Wolverine or Elgin Industries

*Note: To convert from press in studs to screw studs will require machine shop services. Instructions are not included, your local machine shop should know how to do this job. If not, you're in the wrong machine shop.

Do not install crimp style adjuster nuts without appropriate lubrication.

Will not fit GT40 or GT40P heads w/ 5/16" base threads.
