Valve Spring ID Locators

These ID Locators are Machined from Chrome Moly Steel bar stock then properly Heat Treated to resist wear.

Unlike cups which hold the spring from the outside diameter of the outer spring, ID locators hold the spring using the inside diameter of the inner spring.

Since ID locators have a smaller outside diameter, they are normally used in applications where cups are too large to fit the spring pad.

Locators w/ .640" center hole are commonly used on FE Ford, 351C, SB & BB Chrysler Iron heads which have had the spring seats machined to down to .625"/.630" on the ID. Many of the spring seat cutters use this ID

These also fit many BBC. Measure the spring base to varify fitment.
