Cam Button & Lock Plat Kit, Mark IV BBC

Hi Performance Chevy engines require something to limit cam movement. Our thrust button & lock plate kit is designed to do just that.

Don't take chances with your expensive engine, add a thrust button to limit cam movement.

Why is this important? When the cam moves that far, the lobes can contact adjacent lifters. (which is never good)

Cam movement also causes erratic ignition timing.

For use with Mark IV BBC with any cam style.

Will not fit Gen 5/6 with factory roller cam blocks.

     Kit comes with:

• Torrington "Roller" Cam Button Assembly
• Three 5/16-NC, Grade Eight Mounting Bolts
• Lock Plate w/ bendable tangs

• Button Base Diameter- .870"
