If you need a pushrod length checker to use only on 302 SB Ford engines w/ pedestal mount rockers, this tool has the correct range for hydraulic roller cam engines.

Tools with shorter range cost less to make. This range covers most SBF pedestal mount heads like; E7, GT40 and Gt40P castings.

Buyers can save a little money by ordering this 6.100"-6.500" range tool. If you also work on flat tappet cam SB Fords, go with the 6.000-7.00 range tool which will work with both hyd roller and hyd flat tappet.

Pushrod length checkers are intended to be used as a tool to determine optimum pushrod length.

Once optimum length is found, special length pushrods can be ordered or custom made.

Since we offer custom made pushrods, it made sense for us to also offer custom made pushrod checker tools also.
