These timing cover dowels are manufactured to OEM specifications by Pioneer Automotive. 

Use to replace old rusted, squished or lost dowels.

Direct replacement for the factory dowels.

     Specifications:

• Outside Diameter- .481"
• Inside Diameter- .388"
• Height- .545"
• Fits the following- SB Ford automotive engines 260, 289, 302, 351W (Not for Marine applications) See note 1 below
  
• For engines which come from the Ford factory with an aluminum timing cover
• Purchase quantity of 1 to get two dowels

 Note 1: For engines which have timing cover dowels installed at the Ford factory, which is most SB Fords w/ aluminum timing covers. If you have a marine engine with a cast iron timing cover, you might not be able to use these dowels. If your marine repair manual instructs the mechanic to use a special tool which fits over the crankshaft snout to align the timing cover, these dowels will not apply to that application.
