Easy to determine breakdown of pushrod sizes build into the part number.

  • PR= Pushrod
  • 1st set of numbers: 56= 5/16" Tube Diameter. (If the tube diameter was 3/8" or .375", numbers in this position would be 38)
  • 2nd set of numbers: 7500 = 7.500" Length.
  • 3rd set of numbers: 80= .080" wall thickness
  • 4th set of numbers: 56= 5/16" Radius ends/tips

Note 1: The majority of the manufacturers of single piece pushrods use the "Gauge Point" method of measurement. Gauge Point measuring is done on a fixture at the factory which contacts the pushrod on the radius of the pushrod ends and not "tip to tip" as what one might do using a pair of calipers. They use this method because measuring via gauge point is not affected by the chamfer/oil hole diameter while measuring end to end is. For this reason, end to end measurements are always slightly longer than the length etched on the pushrod itself. As a result, end to end measurements are commonly between .010"-.018" longer than the advertised length.
