Note 1: The majority of the manufacturers of single piece pushrods use the "Gauge Point" method of measurement. Gauge Point measuring is done on a fixture at the factory which contacts the pushrod on the radius of the pushrod ends and not "tip to tip" as what one might do while using a pair of calipers. They use this method because measuring via gauge point is not affected by the chamfer/oil hole diameter while measuring end to end is. For this reason, end to end measurements are always slightly longer than the gauge point specification etched on the pushrod. As a result of using the gauge point method, end to end measurements are commonly between .010"-.018" longer than the advertised length. This is not specific to our pushrods but is the standard of the industry across most popular single piece pushrod brands so it doesn't matter where you buy your pushrods, most of them will be manufactured while using the gauge point process. This is why you see online reviews from customers saying the pushrods they ordered measured slightly longer than the length etched into the pushrod,
