Our "Hat" style spring base seals are direct replacements for most 2002 up Gen III engines.

      Hat style seals serve two purposes:

• As a spring base for beehive and other std diameter springs 

• As a Premium Viton Valve Seal
  

Our Hat seals for GM/Chevy LS/LQ series engines are manufactured to precise tolerances.

This type of valve seal not only seals oil from going down the stem into the guide but also seals oil from going up around the underside of the seal or guide OD when vacuum is high.

These seals fit tight over std LS/LQ guides, (.499"-.500" diameter guides)

Purchase comes with eight intake seals and eight exhaust seals, both labeled for easy identification.
