Far Superior to typical welded ball pushrods, these are manufactured from a single piece of 4130 Chromoly Steel and finished machined to hold T.I.R. (total indicated run-out) to a tight tolerance. 

Intended for High Performance and race applications running high RPM.

Length is .060" longer than OE length for SB Ford 5.0/302 engines; intended for use in applications in need of +.060" longer pushrods.

Oversize length pushrods are commonly use with certain aftermarket performance cams. The extra length is required to restore or re-establish proper hyd lifter preload. Many High Performance cam manufacturers grind their performance cams with smaller than stock base circle diameters. When they do this, the lifter is positioned lower into into the block, longer pushrods are then required to make up for this lower lifter position.
