Our Max Output II valve spring kits for FE Ford are intended for OE Ford iron heads w/ a stepped spring base. This is good news for FE builders as the stepped base head was the most common version Ford produced. (If you have a 427 with a flat spring base which came from the factory with a spring cup, you'll need a different spring kit)

Max Output II kits for FE Ford work with a wide range of hydraulic roller cams, from 209-248 degrees duration @ .050" with lifts right up to .550" at the valve.

These are custom built to order which normally ships around 30 days after the order is placed.

Springs fit right onto the factory stepped spring base, no machining required- Known as "Drop in fit".

Requirements- As with any performance aftermarket valve spring kit, spring installed heights should be measured and shimmed as necessary.

Please allow around 30 days for your kit to be built and shipped.

Viton Umbrella Seals # VSS-302, or Nylon Body w/ Viton Grommet Umbrella Seals #VSS-312, or Positive Viton Valve Seals VSS-407, as well as a Hardened Shim Pack can be added to your order simply by selection the desired item from the option section of this listing.

All three valve seal options fit OE stepped base iron FE heads. Be sure your guides have not been previously machined to a smaller size, VSS-407 positive seals require the guide diameter to measure between .625"-.660" which fits most OE Ford factory machined castings.
