Here we have a kit to convert select Pontiac heads for full adjustability.

Most stock Pontiac heads, have stepped or bottle neck type rocker studs where the rocker nut is simply torqued down- no adjustment option. 

Over the years, when the stock valve train wears, lifter adjustment may be needed to get rid of lifter noise.

This kit can be used to convert some Pontiac heads to fully adjustable rockers but please note- your Pontiac heads must have screw in rocker studs, will not work with pressed in studs.

To determine which stud type your heads have, just look at the base of the rocker studs. Screw in studs will have a built-in hex nut at the base of the studs. To removed screw in studs, just unscrew them with a wrench or deep socket.

If your heads do not have the jam nut at the base of the stud, they would be the pressed in type and this kit will not work. If your heads have pressed in studs, the heads can be converted to screw in studs but it requires machine work and 7/16" heli-coil installation.

This kit is not intended for use with full roller rockers, its is intended for use with stock Pontiac stamped steel rockers because the rocker fulcrums and adjuster nuts are not needed for roller rockers. If you have roller rockers, you only need to order the studs which we offer separately. See note* below.

• 16- Crimp Style Rocker Nuts (To be installed with ample lubrication, do not assemble dry!)
