These are specific to iron Vortec heads which have their own unique size.

Common Applications for this seal size:

• 1996 and up CHEVY 4.3 Iron Vortec Heads w/ guides measuring between .552"-.556" (verify these are correct before purchasing)
  
• Any 11/32" valve application w/ a .552" guide diameter
  

Note 1: Not all 4.3 vortec heads can use this seal.The best way to determine fitment is to remove a seal and check the guide diameter. 4.3 engines with oil shields on the springs and rotators on the exhaust will not accept this seal. To use these seals, the heads require the use of single groove valves which should be 1996 and up but we do not guarantee this to be 100% so you'll want to check before ordering. According to available data, 1994 and 1995 with Vin "W" accept this seal but here again, do your research in advance or ordering.
