These heavy duty pushrods are Top Shelf Quality!
Far Superior to typical welded ball pushrods, these are manufactured from a single piece of 4130 Chromoly Steel and finished machined to hold T.I.R. (total indicated run-out) to a tight tolerance.
Intended for High Performance and race applications running high RPM.
Length is .100" longer than OE length for SB Ford 5.0/302 engines; intended for use in applications in need of +100" length pushrods.
Oversize lengths are commonly used with aftermarket performance cams. The extra length is required as a result of smaller "base circle" diameters used during high performance cam manufacture.

Length Details: Anyone wondering why the pushrods are marked with 6.350" when the measured length is 6.360"? This is because most manufacturers of single piece pushrods use a measuring process called "Gauge Point". Instead of measuring end to end, they use the "gauge point" method which is always slightly longer than when measuring end to end with calipers. Only a few manufacturers use actual "end to end" measurements. We know Elgin uses actual end to end measurements but most single piece pushrod company's like: "Comp, Tric Flow, Trend", etc all use the gauge point method. This means the end to end measured length is going to be slightly longer than whats etched on the pushrod.
In order to help our customers make informed decisions, we intend to include both specifications.
