Two new High Output Drop In Valve Springs Kits coming for GT40 & GT40P heads and one is a Ovate Beehive!

Sometime in early 2016, we expect to release several new High Performance drop in valve spring kits for SB Ford GT40 and GT40P iron heads.

  1. A New Max Output II valve spring kit w/ 130 Lbs seat and 370 Lbs open @ .600" lift.
  2. A New Ovate Wire Beehive valve spring kit w/ 135/140 Lbs seat and 365/370 Lbs open @ .600" lift.

Number one will use a brand new proprietary Max Output II spring with 130 Lbs seat pressure and more open then previously available from us in a drop in style spring. Open will be around 330 Lbs @ .500" lift, 350 Lbs @ .550" lift and 370 Lbs @ .600" lift. The beauty of these new kits is they will handle much bigger cams than ever before. These pressures can be used with most hyd roller cams w/ up to 250 degrees duration @ .050" and up to .600" lift.

Number two is a brand new proprietary High Output drop in Beehive spring kit! This kit will belong to our Max Output II family and will sport high seat and open pressures as well as accept up to .600" lift. Seat pressures will be in the 135/140 Lb range and open pressures will be in the 365/370 Lb range @ .600" lift. This kit will handle many of the bigger Hyd Roller grinds and well as mechanical flat tappet cams. As with our other drop in kits, the beehive will also fit onto the stock spring base without the need for machine work. The new beehives will be specially manufactured using ovate wire to take advantage of modern spring technologies.

Both new kits will offer more mid to top in power using moderate to large cams and will also function well for smaller profiles in many applications including, naturally aspirated carburetor and fuel injection, turbo, supercharged and nitrous applications.

We won't know what the final pricing will be until all the parts become available but aim to offer kit # 1 for around $147.50 and # 2 for $219.50 Both kits will come with: Springs, Retainers and Locks to suit .393"/.481" staggered tip length valves as well as .393"/.393" configurations.
